I am always asked for easy but healthy snack ideas so here’s another one for you.
These pumpkin seeds are literally fried for a few minutes in a dry frying pan and then they are ready. They can be served hot or cold but I especially enjoy them warm.
Ingredients: can serve as many as you like
Pumpkin seeds – that’s it!
(allow a handful per person)
Heat a dry frying pan on the hob.
Add the pumpkin seeds on high heat and allow to cook.
Keep moving them about to avoid burning and to ensure they are browned on both sides. They will cook in their own natural fats and go lovely and crisp in under 10 minutes.
