In the absence of a more descriptive name these became known as dollops!
These are just sooo easy to make and are great fun to do with young kids as they can choose their own healthy toppings and get creative in arranging them how they like…. see what toppings you can come up with…. I’ve tried grated apple & raisin, pecan nut and goji berry, frozen berries and dried mixed fruit.
Ingredients: serves 2
100g natural or Greek yoghurt (ideally choose high protein and sugar free)
1 tsp stevia (could also use maple syrup or honey if you wish but stevia is the healthier choice)
Choose about 40-50g of the following or make your own combination
dried mixed fruit
25g raisins / 15g grated apple
25g chopped pecans / 15g goji berries
Extra toppings can be used to decorate the top.
Put yoghurt into a bowl and add stevia. Mix.
Then add toppings of your choice and combine thoroughly.
Turn the mixture out onto a baking tray and flatten.
Use some extra toppings to decorate and so you know what’s in them.
Put into the freezer for 2 hours.
When ready to eat remove from freezer and leave for about 2 minutes. Do not leave too long or it will melt!
